At Gemini Youth Orchestras...
...we believe that music is one of the most eloquent expressions of our common humanity and that developing this expression in our children is not only engaging and exciting, but can also provide the fundamental building blocks for a successful and rewarding life!
Gemini Youth musicians have the opportunity to work with internationally acclaimed conductors, composers, and coaches in a positive community environment that fosters creativity and leadership. Our ensembles have performed throughout Long Island and NYC, including at Lincoln Center, Symphony Space, the Tilles Center, the John Adams Playhouse (Hofstra Univ.), and the Adelphi University Performing Arts Center.
In addition to our Concerto Competition newly established in spring of 2016, our 2016/2017 season brought an expansion of our program offerings. Our unique articulation agreement with Five Towns College enables qualified 10th, 11th and 12th graders to earn college credit for participation in our Concert Winds, Philharmonia, and Youth Symphony ensembles.
