Audition

Auditions are required for all students new to Gemini. Placement is subject to the discretion of the conductor and the availability of positions in each of our ensembles. All auditioning students must have a private teacher and must have participated in a NYSSMA solo evaluation on his or her chosen instrument.

Gemini Youth Orchestras will hold auditions for the 2026-202 season on Monday, June 8 and Tuesday, June 9, at Long Island School for the Gifted, 815 Convent Road, Syosset. We have an exciting year planned for 2026-2027 and look forward to great music and inspirational leadership!
